The "Hope" exhibition was a highlight of the 6th Moscow Biennale of Contemporary Art, and was the first time that the former workshops of the Tryokhgornaya Manufactory were used for an art show. Its focus was Russia's industrial cities - in 2014-15, more than 20 artists from six countries (Austria, Germany, Denmark, the Netherlands, Russia and the United States) visited Vyksa, Yekaterinburg, Ivanovo, Izhevsk, Magnitogorsk, Nizhny Novgorod and Norilsk, and produced photographs, objects, paintings and graphical works.
The show was organized by the Austrian Cultural Forum in Moscow, the Tryokhgornaya Manufactory and the Kunsthalle Wien, together with the Royal Netherlands Embassy, the Danish Embassy, the Goethe-Institut and the Federal Chancellery of Austria.
Exhibition curators: Nicolaus Schafhausen, director of the Kunsthalle Wien; Simon Mraz, director of the Austrian Cultural Forum, Moscow.
ArtManagement provided PR support to "Hope" and organized a press tour for members of the Russian and international media. Information about the show was published in over 60 outlets, broadcast on Russian television (on the First, Culture and Moscow-24 channels), and was also shown on Austrian and German television.
