The Novy Museum (New Museum) has become one of St. Petersburg's leading spaces for modern art.
A public museum, founded on the basis of Aslan Chekhoyev's private collection, the Novy Museum opened in the historical center of St. Petersburg in a five-story building built in 1870. In its first exhibition, the museum showed more than 150 works by Russian artists from the collection of the museum's founder, including works by nonconformists (Oscar Rabin, Dmitry Krasnopevtsev, Oleg Tselkov, Anatoly Zverev and many others), as well as current art (Anatoly Osmolovsky, Dmitry Gutov, Oleg Kulik and others).
ArtManagement provided public relations services for the museum's opening and organized a press tour for Moscow-based journalists.
